This project is located on the Poigar River in Mobuya Village in the north of the island of Sulawesi. In this province, as in the rest of Indonesia, a large proportion of the electricity is generated using fossil fuels such as coal and diesel. As a result of this, Indonesia is one of the largest emitters of greenhouse gases in the world. CO₂ emissions are avoided because of this water-driven power station in Mobuya Village.

Wind turbine farm - Turkey

Long-term financing is lacking in Turkey, as a result of which it is very difficult to set up sustainable energy projects. This wind turbine farm in the Yuntdag countryside, which is the third largest, is therefore a major impulse for the growth of the Turkish market for wind energy. The wind turbines are connected to the regional grid. This ensures that less fossil fuels need to be used.
